In the Opera „Julius Caesar“ by G.F. Haendel Cleopatras love to Caesar takes an development, that is very human: Beginning with the adolescent infatuation, coming over the deep matured love uo to disappointments and existential anexiety, she is going streight ahead and finds a way that enables her to act and to turn everything to good account. During the following musical history many other composers let take their "heroines" a development which was similar - or sometimes completely different. In her program Cornelia Goetz showed „heroines“ from the operaworld, who live their love in many different ways. Each aria was prepended with a suiting citation by Heinrich Heine.
